Case Study: How a Dating Smartlink helps you earn over $4,000 monthly
Greetings to all readers! This article presents a case study report from our affiliate partner. Here’s a small tip for you: if you want a bonus, you can find more information towards the end of this piece.
I have been focusing on a native traffic source for a little over a year now. In particular, I have concentrated on the dating niche since I feel more familiar with the audience and find it more comfortable to work with. Despite being new to affiliate marketing, I began earning profits early on. However, it wasn’t until November when I made a significant income from working with a single offer and traffic source while utilizing GEO scaling. To be exact, I earned more than $4,000 in just that month, which was a remarkable achievement that I am excited to share with everyone.

How to choose the right affiliate program and offer
Are you struggling to find the right affiliate program or offer that can help boost your profits? If so, you’re not alone. In fact, I’ve been there myself. In the middle of October, I found that my profit rates had stagnated, and even started to decrease. It was frustrating, and I knew I needed to take action.
After some contemplation, I came to the realization that I had been wasting a lot of time, money, and effort testing different GEO offers. Whenever I found one that performed well, it would quickly become exhausted, and I would be back to square one. That’s when I decided to try working with a Smartlink.
I started by discussing my plans with friends and reading up on various chats and reviews. Eventually, I stumbled upon AdsEmpire Smartlink, which seemed like a promising option. The program offered access to multiple GEOs, including Tier-1 countries, and other affiliates had positive things to say about working with AdsEmpire.
Source of traffic
For the past several months, I’ve been working with TrafficFactory. During this time, I tested out various networks and carefully considered factors such as GEO selection, traffic volume and quality, and cost per click. After much experimentation, I found that TrafficFactory was the best option for me. Of course, there are many other great competitors out there, but in the end, TrafficFactory was the clear winner.
Ad format and settings
I discovered that success doesn’t always require reinventing the wheel. In my case, I found that creating a specific local language campaign for each GEO was the key to success. The creative assets were also customized for each location, and I made sure to choose girl photos that matched the preferences of the local male population. For example, all the girls in South Africa were black.
In terms of ad format, I opted for Mobile Native AD / Android and stuck to typical categories such as milf, home, and ass, among others. I intentionally avoided any hardcore categories like bdsm or gangbang.
For tracking my results, I relied on Voluum. While it may not be the most outstanding tracker available, I’ve grown accustomed to using it for analyzing traffic and key metrics.
I conducted a series of challenging tests using various creatives and native traffic sources. However, when working with the Smartlink, I didn’t have to sift through numerous offers. Initially, I had opted for young and glamorous girls, but to my surprise, it didn’t work. It seems that the audience has grown tired of perfectly photoshopped models. So, I started adding more “real” looking girls, and I noticed a visible improvement in click-through rates (CTR). Ultimately, I found that using photos of regular 40+ women in a “home collection” style functioned perfectly.
Interestingly, I discovered that the CTR was largely dependent on the level of nudity in the pictures of women. Suggestiveness and mild erotica didn’t manage to attract the target audience as much as more explicit imagery did.
GEOs of choice
To kickstart my affiliate marketing campaign, I decided to focus on the US market, which is not only sizable but also quite affluent. I conducted various tests and drove traffic to the offers to determine what would work best. Interestingly, every creative concept and approach that worked for the US also proved successful in other countries.
After testing in the US, I expanded my campaign to include several European countries, such as Sweden, the Netherlands, Poland, and Portugal, which I added after two weeks. Towards the end of the month, I also added South Africa, a unique location that I’m still actively working on. Although it differs from Europe and the US, I believe it has great potential for success.
In November, my traffic expenses totaled $3,894, while my earnings amounted to an impressive $8,238, resulting in a return on investment (ROI) of 111%. These are solid results that I’m very pleased with. I even took a screenshot of my affiliate account to share with you. See below for the image:
I’m proud to say that my experience with AdsEmpire’s Smartlink affiliate program was a massive success. In fact, it was the most profitable venture I’ve ever had in my career as an affiliate marketer. I’ve learned that when an offer is no longer viable, it’s essential to focus on other factors, such as creatives.
Currently, I’m still working with the same Smartlink, maintaining European and US volumes while expanding to Spain and France and focusing on boosting turnover in South Africa.
I have several ideas for my next steps, and if they prove successful, I’ll be sure to share them with you all.
